Opened in 1957, the Music Pavilion was the last structure that Frank Lloyd Wright oversaw at Taliesin West. Your guests will be surrounded by a symphony of red – the seats, curtains, and carpeting all pay tribute to what Wright believed to be one of the life-giving colors of creation. The theatre’s interior includes a series of curtained backdrops that can be arranged to change the depth of the stage, an orchestra pit that can be covered to extend the stage or increase seating, and a beautiful mural, intended for Midway Gardens in Chicago, depicting an abstraction of the Chicago skyline. This multi- functional hall continues to be used for exhibitions, concerts, parties, and public meetings.
